Boys of Summer

While it may be rare, once in a while you meet somebody that not only leaves a lasting impression but also makes you feel complete. This is a story about somebody like that.
We met in the middle of a hot and gloomy night in SC. Sweltering heat and high humidity makes you feel sticky all over without any physical activity to provoke such an event. As miserable as you feel being like this, every breeze that touches your skin feels like the touch of a feather flying by and slightly brushing up against you. It makes your little hairs stand up in anticipation of relief.
He certainly had the markings of a non-South Carolinian. His overly confident walk and straight forward talk made him appear outlandish in this so rural setting, appearing part of the country, no matter if in the middle of the city or not. This worldly flair of arrogance and confidence made him ever more attractive, like prey that needed to be hunted down and broken of his will. Of course you never anticipate that the prey may have a stronger will then the hunter. The outcome of the night was predestined by the time he stepped into the dim light of the streetlight that seemed to have been meant to attract the local insect population and not to illuminate it's immediate surroundings.
Attempted small talk with this enticing and all consuming stranger turned quickly into a literary roadshow. With glistening eyes he changed from a comforting companion to a performing poet while always balancing on the edge of being an overly confidant critic and teacher. One has no other choice then but to sit back and enjoy the ride while the gleam in his eyes turns into a sparkle that can barely be surpassed by 4th of July fireworks. The passion that fuels this intriguing veiled web of exploding intellect and borderline insanity is reflected in all his actions. The way he simply holds and consumes a beverage, the long passionate drags of the cigarette smoke he inhales; as if he wants his lungs to burst. He has an exploding passion for life while wondering about the world of morbidity. His salesmanship of carefully analyzed human character is exquisite and amusing. Not many people waste this great amount of time on such a crucial subject; only those whose passion is fueled by the fires of hell and kept under control by the grace of God. He makes you feel inadequate and intellectually uplifted all at the same time. His manner induces and a longing for passion in such a way that every pore of ones body is secreting pheromones that by the will of the Spirits will reach to his senses and initiate the longed for adventure.
Being embraced by such a mystical and yet so simple person is comparable to being lifted up to heaven and lowered back down ever so gently. His words along with his hands make you feel like you are the only person on the face of earth. Any doubt you ever had of not being perfect is wiped out and completely eradicated. One's spirits get lifted and any uncertainty you had is replaced by a life-altering mental status. This feeling of being sexy, desirable and wanted takes the place of all reservations and low self-esteem. Each time you questioned whether you should settle for something less then what you desire turns into a naïve thought that is rapidly dissipating from your mind. It is replaced by feelings of self worth and the always thought of, but never acted upon attitude that you will not settle for anything less than what you know you deserve. This change of attitude is being reflected in every move, expression, and thought, no matter how simplistic the action. It is a liberating feeling that makes you not only free, but also worth the effort. This powerful emotion puts you on top of the world and fills you with a worldly arrogance and self indulgence that can only be matched by others that are as confidant in themselves and in the positive outcome of the future as you. It is hard to be hurt up there. But this feeling needs to be nursed carefully, by exactly placed steps; the hard crash, if ever pushed off the cloud that we float on, would kill us and drive us mentally over the edge to hang around and pick up the pieces only to put them back together and start floating again. Because once you have been there, you will do anything to get back.
In this state of being, lovemaking becomes an arena in which Mozart is played while you wrestle alligators with bare hands, forceful hands that bury themselves into your skin with kisses burning all over you, lighting fires in places you totally forgot existed. With the coolness of a wall touching you and the rough texture of the carpeting imprinting your skin, while fingers penetrate every imaginable cavern of your body and catapult you to new heights, you lose control wishing for the combining of your bodies to become one. When that happens, the world you once knew, ceases to exist . He becomes Noah's Ark, with his soft skin that glistens with small drops of body secretions in the dim light of the full moon shining through the bedroom window. Catlike moves, which bring total mental and physical happiness along with a feeling of completion.
Not very often do you meet somebody that completes you and your life and justifies everything you ever did or have had done to you. This person makes you realize who you are and turns a few days of pleasure into a lifetime worth of memories.

Some of the (unfortunately occuring)'Germanisms' spelling- and Grammar blunders make it hard to take your story as the sophisticated piece of literature it actually is.
Keep up the GOOD work, but write in your vernacular. It does your talent more credit.
