Eventually spring!

von LynxX

1

She lay on a meadow. Her black hair glowed silver and blue in the sunlight.
How did all this happen?
She should have been happy. She was waiting ages for spring. And now it suddenly got warm but she didn’t care anymore. She'd dreamt of all the things she could do when it’s getting warmer again and now it didn’t count anymore.
Why? I don’t understand it.
There she was, left alone with her broken heart, not able to stop crying. She hadn’t eaten for days. She couldn’t. It made her feel horribly sick. It didn’t matter to her. She wanted to die anyway. She was too afraid to slice her wrist but she wouldn’t care if she’d just collapse or go to bed and never wake up again.
It's not true.
Her face looked like a mess. You could see she was beautiful but her agony made her look old and used. She felt exhausted. Her brown eyes were sore. It was unimportant. Nothing was important to her anymore.
I can’t believe it.
In her eyes you could see all her memories and the incomprehension. She didn’t expect it. She thought they were happy.
I don’t want this!
She suffered from all the things she’d given. She’d done everything for them. She wanted a future with him.
I can’t accept it.
She didn’t have her own life. He was her life. He gave sense to everything she did. The first time in here life she had felt secure and home. She had tried everything to make him feel home as well. He’d asked her to marry him. She said yes. He wanted her once. She was sure.
How can this be? How can feelings change so suddenly? He was so sure and now?
There she was all on her own dreaming of the past. She didn’t know how to live on but she had to.
It can’t be all gone or I wouldn’t have the feeling I’m making the biggest mistake in my life, he said.
He gave them a chance but she didn’t have hope anymore. She knew she’d already lost him forever but she couldn’t give up. At least she had to try it. Her heart told her to. She shook off her fears.
We’ll maybe make it.
Her eyes looked sad. She felt cold. She couldn’t believe anymore but she couldn’t give up anyway. Her heart was full of love.
I love you.
