The differnt ending

When she reached Buro’s room and caught sight of his welcoming face, she ran to his bed and broke into sobs that she could not control. Buro was amazed because it was hardly her first visit and she had never shown such weakness before, but solving the mystery handily, he patted her head.
When she finally looked up and he saw her deep brown eyes, he knew that it was nothing personally, but that she had encountered something horrible. She started to tell him about the encounter in the bus and all the terrible things the drunken man said.
He understood her fully and felt the same way she did. He knew that the man was too drunk to know what he was talking about, but that didn’t make it better. It just made it worse, because Buro knew that the man told them his truth feelings about them.
After a few minutes Ester felt fine again and so they spend a happy afternoon. When Ester had to desert, it was almost 6 o’clock and she had a long bus ride before here. They took a long time to part, but when Ester finally left everything went quick. She got the bus just a minute after she arrived at the bus stop. The bus ride went by without any trouble and so when Ester got off, she thought that everything was fine. Then when she walked around the corner and was just 250 meter from her door away, something hit her on the head from behind. When she woke up again she was chained to a chair and her mouth was closed with duck tape. She looked around but everything around her was dark and she just saw another chair on the opposite side from her. From behind she heard a little giggle and when the person finally got in her sight, she just saw a little man. About 1,60 meter tall and stood now in front of her. He smiled at her with such a crazy smile, that she did not even want to imagine what he would do to her.
Five days later
When the police finally knew who the woman was, they went to a hospital to talk to her husband.
“Buro Kuroiwa? I’m Detective Stevens and this is my partner Detective Peterson. We are sorry, but we have to tell you that your wife is dead.”
Buro could not belief him at first. But then Detective Stevens showed him a few pictures to be sure that they got the ID right. On the pictures he could see the torn pieces of his wife, on an autopsy table.
She looked so peacefully if you left the cuts from the autopsy team away.
He still couldn’t believe it, that the woman from the news, the one that was ripped apart by some psychopath, was his little Ester. The one thing he loved more than anything else. This one thing was just taken away from him. The detectives talked to him for quite some time, but he just sat there and stared at the empty wall to his feet.
